APIA Brisbane dinner hears of key challenges on the QSN3
The Australian Pipeliner — April 2012
On Thursday 16 February, an impressive gathering of 340 guests attended the APIA Brisbane Dinner held at the Brisbane Hilton.
Attendees of the APIA Brisbane dinner heard from Nacap Australia Corporate Services Manager John Frith, who presented on ‘QSN3 – floods, fires and other challenges.’
Mr Frith spoke of the various challenges involved with the project, which included unseasonal storm events experienced throughout Queensland in 2011, that coincided with the majority of the pipeline’s construction.
The successful commissioning of the QSN3, which was completed almost $30 million under budget, is an outstanding example of the competence and strength of the Australian pipeline industry. The Brisbane Dinner was proudly supported by GHD and Wasco.
