Deputy Director of The University of Western Australia’s Energy and Minerals Institute Mark Stickells says Australia needs to support and encourage greater investment in innovation programs for the LNG industry.
Mr Stickells said the LNG industry lacked the program led approach to innovation of other energy industries.

Mr Stickells said novel ways should be explored to encourage greater domestic investment in innovation capacity for the LNG industry.
