For over 40 years, Cameron has lead the way in the manufacture of fully welded trunnion mounted ball valves (Cameron® type 30) for use in the oil and gas industry. Where quality, safety and reliability are required, Cameron has answered with fit-for-purpose solutions.
Combining the recent strategic acquisitions of the Grove® and Ring-O® manufacturing facilities in Italy with the Cameron® Ville Platte facility in the USA, Cameron’s Engineered Valves Division now have the ability to manufacture fully welded, side entry and top entry design ball valves in sizes up to 72 inches (1,800 mm) and pressure classes to 10,000 psi (690 Bar).
In Australia, Cameron pipeline ball valves have been selected for many major infrastructure gas pipeline projects including the SEA Gas and Bass Gas projects, and more recently the Brooklyn to Lara, Sydney Primary Looping, Bonaparte Gas and QSN Link pipeline projects.
Cameron has also been chosen as a key supplier of pipeline ball valves for the Dampier to Bunbury Natural Gas Pipeline expansion project. This is one of Australia’s longest and highest capacity pipelines. Cameron’s scope included manufacture and supply of the mainline, looping, hot tapping and tie in valves for Stages 4, 5, 5A and recently Stage 5A(2).

Cameron so far has supplied over 200 side entry and welded body trunnion ball valves for this important project.
The pipeline industry demands ever increasing pipeline diameters, higher pressure and longer service life. With Cameron valves & measurement trunnion mounted ball valves all critical needs have been and will be met on future projects.
