To keep up with this, PCS has made some key personnel acquisitions and changes. Nick Grenier, with over 20 years experience, has been appointed to the position of General Manager. Nick will now be responsible for the day to day operation of the PCS business. PCS has also welcomed Cameron Clarke-Bates in Queensland and Sarah Clear in Melbourne to the team. Cameron joins Craig Naven and Andrew Jarvis as a Business Development Manager and Sarah joins the PCS Head Office team in a role assisting Wes Brunnen and Paul Stockton. Rod Hines, with over 40 years experience in the pipeline industry, continues in his role as Managing Director.

As PCS continues its growth and diversification they have added new products to their wide range of anti-corrosion and abrasion resistant coatings systems. PCS has introduced the Powercrete R95 HBE liquid coatings and is able to provide the Powercrete R95 in a packaged format suitable to the requirements of clients; either in bulk drums so that the product can be applied as a high production field joint coating with the use of plural spray equipment, or they can produce hand applied kits to suit the size of field joints, eliminating the need to purchase standard size packaging and minimising wastage. PCS also supply the Powercrete R95 in cartridge form, with an application gun allowing easy repairs to damaged coatings.

PCS has also been to keen to add to its versatile range of field joint coatings by diversifying their product range into other areas. In the past twelve months PCS has become the distributor of Nu-Bolt/I-Rod Pipe supports, becoming the exclusive representative for Deepwater Corrosion in Australia. The Nu-Bolt/I-Rod Pipe supports solve one of the pipeline industry’s oldest corrosion problems, crevice corrosion.

PCS are pleased to announce that they have also entered into an exclusive distribution agreement with Canadian valve machinery specialists Argus. PCS are exclusively distributing the Argus Multi-Pig launcher and Argus Pig Valves. The Argus range will offer a faster, safer and more efficient pigging operation than conventional barrel pigging. The Argus Multi-Pig launcher is ideally suited to the remote locations often found in the Australian flow line industry.
