With an ALLU Screener Crusher processing attachment a basic machine can be converted into a processing plant, increasing business opportunities and profits. Stationary screens, crushers and feeders can be replaced or it can be used as a pre-processor for the above machines. The processing attachment can process different kind of materials such as top soil, waste soil, contaminated soil, clay, peat, bark, compost, bio waste, demolition waste, grinded asphalt and glass.
The Screener Crusher was invented and developed more than ten years ago by Ideachip. Since then new characteristics, models and accessories have been developed for an increasing amount of new applications and materials, always keeping in mind the importance of easy maintenance and reliability.
Work completed in record time
Finnish construction company Veljekset Luostarinen are using an ALLU Screener Crusher to construct a groundwater pipeline trench. The trench is 13 kilometres long, running from a pumping station to a main water supply in Imatra, Finland.

Work on the project commenced at the end of December 2005 and was scheduled to be finished by the end of August 2006. The work has progressed more quickly than expected, mainly due to the screener crusher method, which involves screening excavated material back to the trench. This means that there is no need to bring new screened material to the site or transfer the excavated material, saving time and money.
The company purchased another ALLU screener - the new ALLU SC model - in spring 2005. This model has three extra heavy duty XHD35 drums and changeable blades. Very rocky material wears the screening bucket and it is important that parts that wear can be changed easily and quickly without welding, even at the job site. The screener crusher is fastened to the excavator as a front shovel.
At the time of writing there was only 4 km left to construct of the 13 kilometre trench, meaning that the work will be completed ahead of schedule. Veljekset Luostarinen have back filled as much as 400 metres per day.
Performance in international markets
The ALLU range of screener crushers have been known to conquer pipeline trenches all over the world and in 2005 Ideachip Oy received a big order from China Petroleum Pipeline Bureau, the biggest pipeline contractor in China.
China Petroleum is constantly seeking new and effective equipment and working methods and six ALLU SM 3-12 screener crushers with 40 mm XHD drums were delivered to China Petroleum early in 2005.
China Petroleum’s Purchasing Manager said “The benefits from the ALLU method have been demonstrated on our job site. The innovative technology is unique and suitable for our pipeline projects. We strongly believe that the screener crushers will be a success on pipeline trenches, thanks to the ALLU strategy and the special ALLU team-spirit.”
