The Golf Day, held at Albert Park Golf Course, played host to approximately 25 keen golfers who were divided into six randomly selected teams. As part of the Golf Day’s commitment to providing mentoring to participants, each team had a more experienced member of the pipeline industry to act in a mentoring capacity for the day.

Mentors for the Golf Day included Paul Tschappeller (McConnell Dowell), Ron Main (Epic Energy), Chris Young (Epic Energy), Nasa Chaabani (Canusa), Michael Wallace (OSD Pipelines), Scott Pearce (CNC Project Management) and Charles Waring (Atlas Steel).

The victorious team for this year’s event included Tim Thompson (Great Southern Press), Patrick Lowry (APA Group), Charles Waring (Atlas Steel) and Anthony Trantino (Jemena).

Following the conclusion of the golf, attendees met in the clubhouse facilities to hear from the six mentors present, who each provided a presentation on their time in the industry and valuable career guidance as to the development of young members in the pipeline industry.
