Previously, Epic used a database model to manage their landholders nationwide. Although ahead of its time many years ago, this system required revitalisation and X-Info Connect was the solution selected. With its user-friendly interface and extensive reporting functionality it was the ideal tool to move with Epic into the future.

Mipela worked with Epic to capture the company’s needs, before assigning a project team to manage the system’s implementation from start to finish. During the implementation, Mipela listened, designed, redesigned, cleaned and uploaded all historical data ready for approval and testing. This included an extensive migration of all information in Epic’s existing landholder databases.

Epic tested the solution in a variety of locations and applications across the company’s operations and, once happy with the proposed solution, Mipela was able to prepare the installation process and customised hands-on training course simultaneously.

The implementation was signed off with Epic Energy Project Manager Garry Fischer saying “The positive and sound working relationship developed between the two project teams ensured that this project was undertaken efficiently in only four months. The timely turnaround of issues and project requirements meant that issues were solved quickly and effectively.”
