The biennial International Pipeline Conference (IPC) runs for a week in Calgary, Canada, attracting approximately 5,000 participants and holding many streams of presentations.
In order to assist as many young pipeliners (aged 35 or under) as possible, the APIA Board has agreed that APIA will offer $4,000 to supplement the costs of the employers who would like to send their young people to the informative international conference.
This is a tremendous opportunity and the knowledge gained from attending presentations and meeting experienced people from the international industry will greatly benefit young pipeliners.
The closing date to apply for this assistance is 31 March 2010. The successful candidates will be chosen by the APIA Board at its meeting on 21 April 2010.
